Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory is currently slated to serve a 4-game suspension at the the start of the season, but the team would be wise not to expect him on Week 5.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that Gregory will enter a treatment facility as faces yet another suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse program.
That should be increase his ban from 4 to 10 games, and the fear in Valley Ranch is that he may never play another snap in Dallas, or any other place for that matter, again.
“I don’t want to comment on that,” Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett shot back at inquiries into the latest news. “I’m not commenting on Randy Gregory.”
