After visiting the team twice, veteran cornerback Leon Hall, 31, and the New York Giants have struck a deal worth up to $2 million, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter’s source.

Hall, who had back surgery in the offseason, was also considering a new offer from the Cincinnati Bengals, who he had played for his entire career (2007-2015). He’ll presumably work in the slot in competition with Trevin Wade, who has been working with the first team this summer.

The move also prompted the release of cornerback Tramain Jacobs.
