Twelve losses in 2015 is in indeed a sour taste that can’t be rid of over an offseason, but getting back on the field with a clean slate is sometimes all you need.
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten is feeling pretty psyched for preseason play to start, even though he and the rest of the starters won’t see action.
But it does mean the regular season is right around. the corner
“I wish I could play,” Witten said. “Anytime you go through camp and you get ready to go against somebody else, there’s an excitement that comes with that. It’s real football.”
“But more so this year than any year, coming off the 4-12, this really kicks off the season. For our entire football team we’re anxious for that.”
