New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick gets a crack at using video on the league’s surface tablets twice this preseason. The NFL is allowing the access for a team’s first home preseason game, which means the Patriots get to use video at Carolina as well.
For the most part, after the taking it a test drive against New Orleans Thursday night, Belichick likes the concept – that is, when it’s working…
“The first home preseason game for each team they use the video component of the Surface tablets, so since this was our first home game we used those last night,” Belichick said, per CSN New England’s Tom Curran.
“Coincidentally, as it works out, we’ll also use them in the Carolina game because that will be Carolina’s first home preseason game, too. So, we’ll actually get to use them twice.”
