Part of Cleveland Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III’s new approach is making sure he slides after each run, a big departure from the old oft-injured RG3.
But it seems the emphasis put on it by coaches is paying off, and Griffin is listening.
“It’s something that Coach has emphasized to me,” Griffin said, per PFT. “It’s something I’ve learned over my career just with situations that I’ve been in. I can’t thank everybody who has helped me get to that point where it’s hammered in. I’ve learned my lesson from mistakes in the past.”
“It’s just football. It’s fun… I said it last week, just the opportunity to get out there and play with great people and people that you trust and know that everybody has the same goal, and it’s to make this team a consistent winner. It’s just fun to go out there.”
