Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Ladarius Green joined the team this offseason after signing a $20 million deal, but he has yet to see the field and the latest rumor of him having issues with headaches seem to have some on the nervous side.
However, Green refutes the claim, and says that he’s working on his ankle injury and that’s all.
“I don’t know what reports those are,” Green said, via Tribelive.com.
“I am still on PUP because of my ankle. I have still [been] rehabbing on my ankle, so I haven’t been dealing with anything else but that.”
“I am wondering who said this,” Green said about the reports. “I don’t think I spoke about retiring no time soon. I am only 26, so I don’t think I am retiring anytime soon. Why wouldn’t I be confident about (playing in 2016)? I am optimistic for it, ready for it and still training for it.”
