The Seattle Seahawks expect to be in the hunt in January, but they know if they are to put themselves in prime position, they need a better start after getting out of the gate slow the past few seasons.
“Having our core group out there, it allows us to communicate,’’ safety Earl Thomas said, via the Seattle Times.
“That’s the biggest difference in the evolving of our defense is the way we communicate now.”
“They’re just starting a little quicker now (the offense). In the past couple of years it usually took them a while to warm it up, get used to the concepts and get comfortable in their spots. They’ve gotten to where they were midseason a little bit earlier than before, and that’s exciting to see.’’
