The Minnesota Vikings are looking forward to the return of wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the lineup, and all signs seem to point to Sunday’s matchup against Philadelphia.
Diggs (groin) practiced on a limited basis for two consecutive days, and while no word has come down on whether he’ll be active for Sunday, offensive coordinator Norv Turner says Diggs’ would-be presence makes for a big upgrade to the offense.
“It’s a big difference,” Turner said, per Scout.com.
“He’s obviously a very good player and he attracts attention. If a team decides to put an emphasis on him or put their best player on him, it opens things for everyone else, and obviously when he gets singled up he has had very good production.”
