The Cleveland Browns’ banged up QB corps should get one of their injured players back in time for Sunday matchup with the Jets.
Josh McCown says his injured collarbone is healing nicely and likely ready for the rigors of a game, although he’ll need a full week of practice and medical clearance to make it happen.
“We’re moving in that direction,” McCown said Wednesday, per PFT. “We’ll see how it goes.”
After current starter Cody Kessler received a concussion last Sunday, for the moment it appears to be McCown the No. 1 followed by 4th-stringer Kevin Hogan.
