After being promoted from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Cobi Hamilton is making the most of his opportunity.
“I look back and feel like I should have been in this spot four years ago,” Hamilton told Chris Bradford of timesonline.com. “but everyone has a different story, a different journey to get to where they want to go and this is continuing to be mine.”
Since being promoted, Hamilton (6’2″ and 201 lbs) has 5 catches for 72 yards. That’s the 3rd most yards in the Steelers’ past two games.
“There’s a lot of stuff I can do better,” he added. “Working on my details, especially at the pro level and in a professional manner. Just details of my route running and the concepts. I’m a long way to where I want to be, but I’m right where I thought I would be, if that makes sense.”
