Raiders are the real deal as they head into bye week

The Oakland Raiders took sole possession of first place in the AFC West last Sunday night after beating the Broncos 30-20 at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.

They now head into their bye wee 7-2, and beaming with confidence.

According to Raiders.com, it’s no illusion, the silver and black is back.

Raiders.com writes:

‘The Raiders have established themselves as legitimate contenders in the AFC, and the win over the reigning Super Bowl champs proved to the league they mean business. This week the team will have an opportunity to relax and recharge its batteries, as the players and coaches get Week 10 off due to the bye. The Week 9 win was arguably the Silver and Black’s best effort of 2016 to date, and following the result, Jack Del Rio’s squad now owns the outright lead in the AFC West. The Raiders will now get a little time to enjoy the win, as their bye week is scheduled for Week 10, but before the players officially get some well-deserved rest.’
