Brady optimistic with Gronkowski out: ‘We’ve got a lot of tough guys in the locker room still’

The New England Patriots were definitely dealt a huge blow in losing tight end Rob Gronkowski for the rest of the season, but they’ve been down this road before.

Quarterback Tom Brady is pretty accustomed to this kind of diversity throughout the years:

We’ve had some experience I think this year being without him,” Brady said, per the Associated Press. “It’s not something that you want to deal with. But at some point in the year, based on how long the season is, you’re always going to deal with something.”

“We’ve still got a lot of good players… We’ll keep battling without him. We’ve got a lot of tough guys in the locker room still, and we’ll see what we can make of this season. We were off to a good start and we’ve got to keep it going.”
