Alan Branch’s suspension goes up in smoke, free to play rest of season

According to Kevin Duffy of Mass Live, New England Patriots defensive tackle Alan Branch won his appeal for a four-game suspension for a marijuana violation.

Branch is now able to play the rest of the season without any more action against him.

The defensive tackle insisated he had done nothing wrong last week:

“That’s why I’m appealing it,” Branch said.

“We’ll see what happens from here.”
