More concern over Antonio Brown in Pittsburgh: WR not a team player?

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is still in the midst of the backlash over his ill-advised Faecbook live locker room video – an incident that would’ve been all but forgotten had the Steelers went into New England and won, with the help of a lights out Brown performance.

But both did not happen, and now we have some rumblings about whether Brown is consistently out for individuals stats, not for the team’s best interest as it should be.

According to a report by the NFL Network’s Aditi Kinkhabwala, Brown “pouted” after  the Steelers’ first touchdown in the AFC Championship game went to running back DeAngelo Williams rather than him.

Brown, heading into the final year of his contract, isn’t a stranger to this type of concern – just last year head coach Mike Tomlin reportedly had to sit him down and have a little talk about his penchant for ‘chasing stats.’

Will the Steelers take a long, hard look at whether his attitude is detrimental to the team, and let an incredible talent wade into 2018 free agency waters? Time will only tell.
