Florida CB Teez Tabor is glowing in confidence at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, and he’s not afraid to let anybody who’ll listen know it.
“I feel like I’m the best overall player in the draft, not just the best cornerback. That’s just the confidence I have in myself and my ability to play football,” Tabor said, per NFL.com.
Currently ranked 20th on analyst Daniel Jeremiah’s top overall draft picks board, Tabor has been the picture of confidence since arriving at Florida. By most accounts, he’ll go int he mid-first round, possibly in the 15 – 17 range.
A negative that teams are looking at is undoubtedly a failed and a skipped drug test during the early days of his time in Florida, but Tabor says that’s all behind him.
“(I want teams to know) that I’m a changed young man. A lot of these teams, they have a report on me, about my past. … I just had some growing pains when I was younger. We all make mistakes in life, but it’s never really a mistake unless you make it two times,” he said. “I don’t feel like I made the same mistake twice.”
