Lacy wraps up visit with Vikings, heading back to Green Bay

Free agent running back Eddie Lacy wrapped up his visit with the Minnesota Vikings with no news of a deal on Saturday.

During a brief interview at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, Lacy described his visit as “pretty cool,” before telling reporters he’s heading back to Green Bay to basically see where things stand with the team that drafted him in 2013, per ESPN’s Ben Goessling.

Lacy, who played in just five games last season due to a foot injury, has battled weight and health issues these past few years in Green Bay; But a healthy and focused Lacy could still have a productive home with the Packers.

Lacy had some of his best game against the division rival Minnesota, averaging 88.3 yards in seven game.
