Ten free agents for the Green Bay Packers, and 6 are already gone – Eddie Lacy, T.J. Lang, Micah Hyde, J.C. Tretter and Julius Peppers.
… and the latest one – outside linebacker Datone Jones signing with divisional rival Minnesota.
Jones with joins the Vikings on a one-year $3.75 million deal, according to the NFL Network.
“Now, I’ve got a chance to chase Aaron (Rodgers), one of the best in the world,” Jones told reporters. “It’s nothing like being able to play one of the best quarterbacks in the world. … Aaron knows I’m coming hungry.”
Out of the four remaining free agents, tight end Jared Cook is expected to return. The other three are UFAs RB Christine Michael and LS Brett Goode, and LB Jordan Tripp (RFA).
