Per ESPN’s Field Yates, the Green Bay Packers added a little insurance to their depleted running back corps, re-signing Christina Michael to what we’re assuming is likely a one-year deal.
Last November, the team signed Michael, formerly a Seahawks’ 2013 2nd round pick, when both Eddie Lacy and James Starks were sidelined.
With Lacy gone, Michael will be No. 2 on the depth chart behind projected starter Ty Montgomery.
In his short stint with the Packers in 2016, he ran for 114 yards with one touchdown.
