After much speculation, the New York Giants will indeed keep wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. into the 2018 season.
The NFL Network’s Kimberly Jones reports that the team will pick up the option that in effect will be guaranteed against injury only. He joins Mike Evans and Kelvin Benjamin as wideouts from that year’s first round to have their options picked up with word still pending on plans for Sammy Watkins and Brandin Cooks, per PFT.
The @Giants are picking up Odell Beckham Jr’s fifth-year option. I’d guess announcement before start of draft Thursday. Deadline is May 3.
