Seattle Seahawks running back Eddie Lacy had his first scheduled team weigh-in on Monday with a little incentive clause at stake – come in at 255 pounds or less and get yourself a whopping $55,000.
… and Lacy did just that: weighing in at 253 lbs, 2 pounds less than the target weight.
“He looks awesome. He looks great,” Pete Carroll told Seattle’s Brock and Salk show.
“He’s huge. And he’s going to keep playing huge. He did a fantastic job. He’s done everything we’ve asked him to do. He’s doing great… His attitude about it has been great. He’s worked with the support system that we put in place and [has been] highly successful.”
