Minnesota Vikings heads coach Mike Zimmer says the team is ready to give an support to wide receiver Michael Floyd, who as you may have heard had some recent legal issues.
Upon Floyd signing with the Vikings, he’s able to serve the rest of his house arrest DUI sentence in Minnesota, which means he can join the team for workouts.
“We understand [his legal history]. We always try to weigh every situation,” Zimmer said, per ESPN.
“But you know, he’s from here. I think he has a good support system with [former Notre Dame teammates] Harrison Smith and Kyle Rudolph, partly. A lot of those things were factored into it.”
