One thing many rookies entering the NFL notice right away is that the professional level of the game is a lot more advanced than what they experienced in college.
As the Pittsburgh Steelers wrapped up the first week of OTAs, Smith-Schuster says he been adapting to the new pace, via Teresa Varley of the team’s official website:
“It’s a lot different,”he said Friday.
“The tempo is faster. Everyone is faster and smarter on the field. I am learning a lot. Just with these past few days, I am learning so much information that will help me along the way. Coach (Richard) Mann is a great coach. Everything he has been teaching me has been working.”
