Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer likes what he sees out of quarterback Teddy Bridgewater so far in his recovery, but cautions there’s a lot of time between starting off on the right foot and getting back into game ready form.
Bridgewater looked impressive while working out with the team in a video posted by the Vikings, at an OTA practice which Zimmer, recovering from eye surgery, was not present for.
As of now, Bridgewater has not been cleared for full practice, but it certainly looks like he’s inching toward that.
“I saw that tape, too,” Zimmer said, per ESPN. “He’s throwing the ball well. He’s got good velocity, accurate. He’s working his rear end off. It just makes you proud for him. He’s still got a long ways to go. But he’s progressing as well as anybody could expect, I would think.”
